Bardic Circle at WitchVox...

A Bardic Circle, to those unfamiliar with the concept, is a gathering of the clan to share stories, magic and music. This is best done in person, 'round a bonfire. With the advent of mp3 files bringing "quality" audio to the net, we can now do a "Bardic Circle", right here in cyberspace.

What we did was ask Pagan Musicians to offer an mp3 link to one of their tunes AND tell us the what, why, where and how they created it. The results were wonderful and a treat for us all. They graced us with a free tune, the story, the credits and the complete lyrics. -- cool eh?

To listen to the MP3 files your pc will need to have an mp3 player installed. MP3 players can be found for FREE at sites like VersionTracker.com

Return of Bardic Circle at Witchvox: (Press Note 10/21/2002)

Air (aka road to the goddess)
by Malice

In Late October 2002 we spent some quality time rewriting a wonderfully successful section here at twv, entitled 'Bardic Circle at Witchvox'. We kick off this re-launch with the new submissions (w/ stories/Mp3 links) to right... We will continue to feature Bardic circle stories from any and all Pagan Musicians that are into participating.

IF YOU are a Pagan Musician and want to participate by sharing one of your tunes and its story, kindly fill the Bardic Circle Submission form and email us a .jpg (150 pixels high/72 dpi) of yourself or your group. We will be featuring a few new Bardic Circle stories each week over the rest of the year. NOTE: Previous participants (from 2000 and 2001) ARE welcome to submit a new tune.

The staff of the Witches' Voice is honored to thank the 32 Pagan musicians for their participation in this community event.
