Free of the Beast

Its unfair
All that the beast is
It tightens the ropes
Pushes me down
It's roar shakes my soul
It's laughter scares me most
It hold my face in the water
Drownding me slowly
It's hand over my mouth
Muffles my screams
These chains around my ankles
Were placed there from birth
The beast never wanted anything good for me
The beast feeds off me
It's teeth in my heart
It's soul strangling me
Sometimes I don't want to go on
But I know one day, I will be free
I must endure it a while longer
And dream of that day
When i am finally free
Free of the beast!
Author's Notes: For someone that made my life a living hell, and to some degree still does. They try to rule my life, to make me do what they want. And has done so since the day I was born.
