The beast within hushes when you are near
no longer tearing at my heart
making it a red ruin
You have soothed my inner beast
The first to ever do so
You bring ease to my worry's and fears
You banish all the evil from my mind and heart
Bring joy and peace to my inner most self
deep down in my soul
your light shines bright and true
Banishing the dark never to return to me
Making me a thing of light and love
no longer dark and cruel
The thing I was nothing but a faint memory now
Peace and contentment flows within
My waters deep within now still instead of rushing fury and hate
They are still for the first time since I can recall
You navigate my mind and heart with ease
you swim within my waters with grace
You calm me with a mere touch
drive me with but a word
I love you for all this and more
so much more it would take forever to list them
It is a good thing that we have forever
