ATHENE
Here is the Goddess born fully formed and arrayed, from Zeus’s head to be displayed, and so a virgin Goddess here was made, see her dancing with the sacred blade. Here is a Goddess born by a sacred lake, and nurtured by nymphs in triplicate, the virgin creator of the world we make, and assigned to follow the lore of fate. Here is the Goddess of art and craft, she who built the plough and the raft, the flute, the trumpet, and the rake, the ox-yoke, and the earthenware pot to bake. She taught the science of numbers and the art of the woman’s way, with cooking, weaving, and spinning as sacred gifts on display.
As a virgin wise seeing with an owlets eyes, and on the wind of night she will rise. Using female logic and practical penetration, to helping people achieve a higher presentation, to master the elements and with the powers be in constant communication. Dare we tame nature, dare we tame the ravenous beast, but here to give to mortals, knowing the difference between famine and feast. So I look to the world, I look to the nature of mortal being, I look at the heart, that in a thousand archetypes we are seeing.
Two eyes that see, one to look at the real, and the other intuitively, it is ethics and diplomacy that are encouraged to flower, waiting in the flight with the midnight hour. Like the owl observing all, and so on movements, strengths, weaknesses, weighing up the advantages and disadvantages of all, with one eye open to see the view, the other closed but knowing the inner clue. Possessing morals and an integrity traits of both wisdom and the crown, as the strategic gift that will not let you down that understanding herself through her understanding of others, and to males both equal and respected, her gifts of wisdom are never neglected.
Flow you then with Athene and fate will open its doors and like a magician, a strategist each one knowing the whys and heretofore. See her sign, placed for all to see, a triangle, on a reversed cross it be know it from within and it will set you free. Flow you then with Athene while sitting in quiet meditation, know that she will guide and direct you in following your own consideration. It is an abstract art she will encourage you to show, and it is the inner work on yourself and the truth you know, use Athene as a focus and in your truth you will grow.
Author's Notes: Athene is the second of the ancient goddess energies dealing with the virgin.............
