No Longer

Age Group: Adult
Run away from all you are,
and hide behind the lies they feed you.
Hide behind the shadows
and become one of them.
Lose a sense of self
and hide behind the masks,
Become one with society
and lose your individuality.
Run away from all you are.
Run away from the truth
and hide,
deny.
No longer can you deny the truth.
No longer can you lose your individuality.
You can no longer deny who you are.
No longer are you allowed to deny yourself
To live life half-heartily and,
Deny your pleasure,
Your views,
No longer.
You cannot hide from me.
Try as you might,
Foolish one.
Now!
Fight against those ideals society brings upon you!
Fight against those beliefs society pushes onto you!
Fight against what they shove on you!
Because
No longer will you deny.
No longer will you hide.
No longer shall society try to change you.
Do not let them get to you
Do not let them push you into denial of yourself
Try as you might;
The more you deny,
The more I push through.
The more you hide,
The more I try,
To show you the truth.
