The Journey

Reaching deeper within me~
Lies a distant memory,
Of another place....another face.
Her thoughts become my thoughts.
Her expressions become my own.
Her impressions feel like mine alone.
Past regressions come forth, ...
From dream sequences, ....that fall like footsteps~
Leading me without preconceived consequences.
Only half unaware, ....but not unsure,
I choose my path ,
As if I've walked it before.
Am I seeing things unfold through ancient eyes,
disguised~
As my own.
Is it past, or pretense that drives my spirit?
Spurring me to unimaginable heights.
Perhaps it is my passage of rites.
Insight gained...wisdom that has remained
From perceived subconcious memory, ... A sense of something greater retained.
A single path
Leading in every direction.
To walk in both Worlds without detection.
Maybe this Is my soul's journey.
Not to question my quest...but be guided by the past,
Accepting what my lifetimes have amassed.
I am the seventh generation daughter
Of a seventh generation mother.
Knowing my spirit is like no other,
And the task that lies before me...
Has answers hidden in my calling, acknowledging
The driving force that cannot be denied.
Surging through me, from some enlightened source~
Striding forth.
I am somehow connected with the Earth's mysteries,
An oracle, ... witnessed by a thousand centuries~
of existance......
Not needing circumstancial evidence,
I "See" what I believe...
Auras that eminate from atomic seed.
Again, ... I pen in rapid succession
What I can...understanding,
That We are of a limited potential,
The journey's end unattainable
Until all; Thought and Mind, Become "soul"ly existential.

Author's Notes: I wrote this after having a dream about a past life I have lived. This regression has physically shown her face to my friends on more than a few occasions, and the alteration to my physical appearance is viewed to be the same by each person who witnesses this transformation. She/me was a gypsy witch with green eyes & long black hair. I have blue eyes and long sandy blond/light brown hair. she is either of Spanish or Romanian decent...we can't quite decide. Dark haired, with an audible accent.
