I Fly

~I Fly~
A dream awaits me...
when sleep comes silently but swift,
to consume me...
I drift....away.
And I~ fly over mountains,
and my ...soul climbs higher
with every heart~beats
my strongest desire...strongest desire
Somewhere after midnight
Somewhere before twilight
There lies my spirit, beside~my soulmate
... beside me...to guide me.....guide me.
So you understand me, ...
or so you claim~...
my heart is the fire, that you...
cannot tame...you, cannot tame.
Somewhere in the fading light I see,
how the truth turns out to be~
...much deeper than the night, ...
beyond the second sight, ...
Our spirit soars free...
Our spirit soars free...soars free.
Nature surrounds me....
the sounds a symphony of life....
untouched by your hands~
...demands so much~
I feel the strength in your touch,
...strength in your touch.
Somehow in the Spirit World exists...
a higher plane, where I...
call out your name...
is Love...Divine...Rightousness,
with my last breath...
and I fly.......high.
Author's Notes: This poem is actually a song that I wrote & performed as a chant with native drums for the musical accompaniment. It has a very spiritual feel to it, and it is one I sing when I am connecting with nature, meditating, and once during circle to put myself in the right mood for white light release (I performed a healing spell for a friends mother) .
