Contessa of the Cove

Chicken curry chutney dinner,
your sparkling eyes in candlelight,
looked through mine, to what is inner
‘still burning in the after-glow,
of our last sweet spicy sacred night.
You are indeed a magick woman
You gave me wings, you gave me flight
And though I’m feelin’ kinda solemn
I’m still basking in your afterglow
and thinkin' everything's alright!
Vivacious venetian vixen
I am astounded by your power!
You took this heart that wanted fixin’
You gave and gave and tasted oh so sweet
to this - my hungry palate oh so sour
And when our fingers gently touched
in our pink candle’s shining Light
Our souls connected and safe-vouched
and your crown burned purple bright!
You brought sweet tears to my dry eyes
You stoked a fire in this cold heart
No Pauliana you – not you, 'so wise
To create such Beauty though we part.
