Endless Skye

Endless Skye (For Wren)

Wren, delicate little bird, don’t cry
Ten thousand hearts go out to you
It’s alright to ask the Goddess “why?”
Just know that Skye is still with You.
Wren, mystic bird, don’t ever waiver
Though Skye now seems vast and Limitless
It might at times seem you’d need to fly forever
To touch Skye again, to feel Her warm caress
Wren, strong mother bird, we sing
For the time You and Skye were here Together
And know that ye mortal magic wing
Is of blessed Skye as much as Spirit feather
Skye will carry you through life and death
You will feel Her always in the air
She will be there with your every Breath
In the wind Her hand will stroke your hair.
Endless Skye, you must be a special Angel
Sent in part to make a Mother Complete
She mysteriously knew you well before you fell
To Earth
So in your Skye you will both still forever meet.
Author's Notes: There is nothing so beautiful in the world
As the Love between a Mother and Daughter
Wren, Fritz, our hearts do go out to you and yours.
