What’s that? You are turning forty?
You know what, its really no big deal
No Love, you’re not turning ‘old and warty’
You are still just as youthful as you feel
Take it from me darling - I do kinda know
Forty is nothing more than just another number
And you, lovelier now, are just beginning to glow
No, you do not need any more beauty slumber!
At forty you are yet a mere fair maiden
And yes it’s true - also a yummy mommy
Your beauty trend is the opposite of fading
No, if you’re not waxing, I must be a dummy!
At forty you are like the waxing half moon
Some time away from radiating full moonlight
That full zenith night when I would love to spoon
Unto a full Goddess then so glowing bright
But for now you are seldom ever Crone
And life’s great mysteries all lie before you
You are so loved and yes, you're never alone
My friend just don’t ever let me bore you.
Nothing takes or lasts forever, Love
I am patient, and in shape I can be shifty
Its your waxing Light now shining high above
May your Beauty still be waxing full at fifty.
