Sweet the cool summer breeze
Up here among the forest trees
The ever-hot dry punishing Sun
No longer brings us to our knees
Since our ancient future has begun
Comforting now the evening air
Up here where I stroke again your hair
That low hidden moonlight grey Sun
No longer clouds from me you fair
Now that our ancient past again is One
Pleasing your verdant world view
High up here on the deer plains with you
That once relentlessly blistering Sun
No longer kills your green blades anew
Since we have turned His gun on Him
Luminous the full moon shines so bright
Up here near your true full reflected light
That distant demanding tyrant Sun
No longer blackens cold every warm night
Since our ancient story has been re-spun
Peaceful now the mid-summer days
Up here among our olde deer people ways
His once Holy Sun no longer frightening
No longer are we the meek He slays
Since we have taken back our Lightning
