(Tonight...)

O
Tonight I felt the tired Sun go down
Its fading warmth upon my back
I sensed a Goddess in a green gown
Join our ride, our lovely evening hack
Tonight I watched the Moon rise
Above the black treed horizon
I felt a woman's dark green eyes
I the Horseman she had her eyes on
Tonight I saw the new Harvest Moon
Rise through cloud wisps in the air
I hoped that I might meet Her soon
And run my fingers through Her hair
Tonight I watch Her full Moon rise
As I dismount my horse Eclipse
Love, like sweet evening air, so True
I want now to taste her sweet full lips
Tonight I stand here on Her Earth
Between the Sun and Harvest Moon
Let's get lost in this new Season's mirth
Write of Love renewed in ancient rune
