I see
intelligent design
or symmetry divine at least
in the low crescent moon tonight
reflecting both pure sun light
also embracing still
sparkle reflected
off her black
ocean
vast
I see
a sign celestial
or a soothing omen at least
in the brilliance of an ephemeral star
the lines falling not between two points
but clefting clean the deep dark blue
in the sweet moment after
I think so high
of you
I see in you
the mirror image
of the first woman
I ever fell in love with
I feel
a young voice angelic
or intriguing words at least
slash through foreboding darkness above
dark eyes once luminous and penetrating
softened, losing their sharp focus
sinking, falling, exploding
dispersing far ecstatic
across all of time
by tongue
I feel I know you
You, the enticing image
of the original One
Men ever fell in love with
