When I can no longer see your face
I will glimpse your rare beauty still
I will be the spirit of your sacred place
I’ll be the forest mist around your hill
When I can no longer hear your voice
I will still listen to you in our silence
Adrift in black void we’ll still rejoice
Against dark death we share defiance
When I can no longer smell your scent
We will still name each other out loud
Each lightning strike for me you meant
Precedes your fresh breeze thundercloud
When I can no longer feel your touch
I will still dance light upon your skin
Once we loved each other far too much
Now we just hold each other here within
When I can no longer have your love
I will sparkle still under the moon
I will lie below as you rise full above
Knowing we'll be again together soon
