She
was still here
When you were gone
Nothing was clear
So I stayed
on
She
shone so bright
When you went dark
Through our long night
All seemed so
stark
She
remained true
When all went wrong
You rained down blue
When I feigned
strong
She
held me close
When you’d not stay
We drowned morose
Then washed
away
She
offered love
When you could not
Our thoughts above
Black waves we
wrought
