Above the solstice moon a sliver wanes
Over you, my lovely maiden mother crone
With you in hand barren windswept plains
Transport us back to ancient Poulnabrone
Though we know we have never been there
We are both certain we've been here before
Every treacherous crack and crevice so familar
upon this old broken barren limestone floor
Here one can sense Truth's veil tearing
Revealing to worlds above below a darker Other
This smooth surface that the wind's been wearing
Oh, what beauty here within our crow-foot Mother
Come fast with me upon the dolmen mound
Under this massive rock slab roof, our shrine
On the third day listen to the rain drops sound
Hear therein lost songs of an ancient race divine
You will then know they still hide among us
Those who walked here long before the Celts
Through the wind, rock, and rain they sung for us
When in their humility and hunger we long knelt
