Our Mountain View
January 7, 2007

Meet me at the midnight summit
Of this Mountain range between us
I will bring all my heart, you've won it!
At the peak you will have won my trust
You did not raise this mountain ridge
No, this jagged range of rock is mine
It will not keep us from shared knowledge
Once there we will find a world Divine
Stand with me at the height of land
Where we can look back at black seas
Then let me take you hand in hand
Before you have me on my knees
Just hold me here above the clouds
Under our stars and the moonlit view
Let the mists below now be the shroud
That protects the truth of me with you
Stay up here with me until day bright
Reveals to us a world we've never seen
Vast golden plains illumed in Sun light
Sweet pastures dark in shadows green
