The Goddess Inside Her
(Flames & Embers)

She casts Her moonlit circle wider
While I stoke up a smoking inner fire
A Goddess stirs now light inside Her
As I send midnight flames up higher
She chants about the ancient stones
While I offer up an unsheathed sword
The Goddess shines within Her bones
As I kneel down upon Her noble word
She'll let the stars and runes decide where
and if, and when, She'll take down this squire
Her shadow casts a dark Goddess beside Her
High in saddle on a silhouette mare shire
She now rides Light around the circle
Her shadow cast equine on outter briar
A Goddess at One with time & miracle
As I feed the heat of a bright inner pyre
She trots past those who died for Her
I fan the burning flames of times less dire
She then laughs at those who cried for Her
As I send flames & embers rising higher!
