Leeping up forward
Tucking in backward
I am head over heals
'rolling head over heals...
Gales sweeping upward
Sucking then downward
I am head over heals
'tossed head over heals...
Tempest winds ripping
Then raindrops dripping
I am head over heals
'torn head over heals...
Black vultures sore over
Fresh flattened clover
I am head over heals
'dying head over heals...
My soul leeping toward
An unknown onward
I am head over heals
'lying dead in green fields...
Author's Notes: The difference between just another spring storm and a tornado is measured ultimately in the single flap of a butterfly's wing.
