Through dead dull grey-brown fields
Springs forth the fresh grass green
Against the purple greys of hardwoods
Dawns anew the poplars' lovely sheen
Meet me again in old Solvang
Where we walk ever hand-in-hand
There we ever feed Love's old heart pang
Where western Danes still make their stand
Play again for me pure Fur Elise
As I fervently gently lay you down
Before I worship you upon my knees
Below your raised green springtime gown
Meet me there in old Solvang again
Amidst springs fresh warm familiar air
Feel me wafting in the gentlest breeze
With my hands thrust in your lovely hair
Between Love's heat and that long winter
You come on strong like the welcome spring
Through morning mists your eyes a glinter
When you realize to me you're everything!
