With Treedom...

We cannot trust the ones in charge
Because we know they've all gone crazy
The public follows them like sheep at large
Just growing fat and blind and lazy...
She cannot sustain our world's health
When they demand more than She's giving
Fouling their nest with their own wealth
Yet despite excess they're barely living...
Money cannot buy them happiness
Such a simple fact today rings true
Yet its pursued still with such ruthlessness
By almost foolish all but us rare few...
It is mass insanity they're sharing
In this current consumptive paradigm
While those of us who are still caring
Are forced to margins where we rhyme...
What happened to their world so brave?
Why did they give up so easily their freedom?
While they go down in wealth its Love they crave
But they're now too out of touch with Treedom
