Silent Sunset

You cannot know what Peace I find
In this warm silent evening sunset
I think the storm is finally over
Mercifully now maybe I can forget
You will no longer hold me captive
The strings you draw won't make me dance
For I have found again the soul inside me
Free, no longer bound under your trance
You will no longer make me want you
Through cruel passive aggressive ways
I've cut lose beneath your fading vast dark blue
You'll not lay waste to more of my fair days
You will no longer make me moonblind
This I see as this sun sets out of sight
I am free from all your strings that bind
Though monthly I'll think of you at night
You will no longer consume me
No, your black heart won't eat mine whole
Though your moon rays may yet illume me
I have taking back the Light you stole
