When breezes of attraction
Return to our stormy effect
There's no time for inaction
Nor any means to just reflect...
How long has it been Love...
What, about four hundred years?
Since this moon shone for us above
Through such darkness and fears
When seething clouds obscure the sun
But we up north here need the rain
All reason then comes soon undone
When we embrace in the arcane
These hard rains now washing over
Promise dark Hope where e'er they fall
Regreening flattened fields of dry clover
In the sweet mournful peace after it all...
When the strong winds of attraction
Knock softly pelting at your door
You'll know again the pure satisfaction
Of being Loved so once and ever more
