Fine white Queen Anne's lace
Grows amidst tall goldenrod
Shining forth just like her lovely face
Above his parched and stony ground
Magnetic pink so delicate
Glows beneath wild bergamot
Like the lust behind our etiquette
The rare Beauty we both sought
Green dragonflies and Monarchs
Criss cross above us through clear air
Like olde souls of distant Matriarchs
Freed by lythe fingers in dark hair
Gold sunsets and our shortened days
Long nighthawk flights in silhouette
I'm falling hard now for your gentle ways
Towards the One Love you'll not regret
Black crickets bold in brown grass
Break through still silence all around
Like the man inside a goddess lass
So deep in August Peace is found
