Anxiously Inside... (we remember)

It was on an evening just like this so very long ago we remember the gloating pride with which I completed the rough sinew stitching that consolidated the stretched hides taught like the scrotal sack of my puckered balls over the arching mammoth rib bones set in a circle wide ends within Her Earth and the others lashed together bending upwards towards the stars and heavens like our hands were in prayer above us when we made love like that within the new sanctuary of our dome sheltered against the damp cold winds now blowing before the certain onset of the long hunger but that night our bellies were as satiated as our hearts with the bloody sweet red nourishment of the raven's gift of deer meat bestowed upon us by our brother bear and Blackgod, the father, son of setting sun... oh how I remember the evening twilight glowing deep red against the black clouds and foreboding trees and Her dark Earth then like tonight and how we laughed defiantly the first ironic lovers' laugh the World ever heard against winters chill winds coming after I humbly placed the antlered skull high upon the apex of our Earthly abode before we climbed anxiously inside...
