Sometimes even stars mis-fire
There will be times that love eludes you
But occasionally our planets do align
Then we both arrive out of the blue...
Sometimes your book is simply opened
At random to the very page and line
Where I find old words familiar spoken
Then out of the blue a Venus star you shine...
Sometimes you skrye up towards a heaven
That we can not see for all the cloud
Then from within our planets seven
We hear each others' name whispered aloud
Sometimes when we stop looking
Then you find exactly what I wanted
Over tea and home-made cooking
Within a house we've never haunted
Sometimes we'll ask the autumn Goddess
To appear for us within Her thin disguise
With a lean dog caressed against Her dress
Out of the blue before my unbelieving eyes...
