Kiss me lightly my dark angel
Then hold me close when I am gone
Lay down warm with me 'gainst winter
Beneath fall's blanket leaves of autumn
Light our October woods on fire
Then through cold silence I will listen
Set once ablaze I'll die slow in desire
Like red leaves fallen briefly glisten
Touch me gently my cruel lover
Then so willingly I'm forced to please
Shining golden under soft cloud cover
Like leaves falling ever at your knees
Still now my cold yet beating heart
Then fall down wet upon me warm as rain
Stay with me always though we ever part
Like flat snow on leaves that winter's slain
Rise again with me in spring time
Then breathe fresh Life unto us new
Take me like the breeze unto the Sun
That I may fall like maple leaves for You
