I've ten silver rings to give you
And fine silken ribbons for your hair
We've nine lives yet to live through
But I've one old stone cross to bear...
I've eight more books to write for thee
All love stories penned with ardent care
We've seven Earthly wonders left to see
But I've still one stone cross to bear...
I've six log homes yet to build for you
And black satin gowns for you to wear
There's five gold temples left to guild for you
But still one Celtic cross for me to bear...
I've four more castles you may take
And crewed galleons to bring you there
For you three mystic stallions yet to break
But still I've one stone cross to bear...
I've two millenia left to love you
Once I slay this last dragon in its lair
Then I'll shine again the Sun above you
When I've no old stone cross to bear.
