We called it quits
We cooled our jets
Resolved to just be friends
But I must admit
I can't forget
How well our bodies blend
Through bridled bits
And wet fishing nets
I've tried to make amends
By candles lit
I still regret
The loss of Love She lends
Through perfect fits
I hedge my bets
And accept what Love She sends
