The Sweet Coming...
(Ostara Poem)

When the city streets fall silent
And no more smog obscures the view
We'll resume our place on horseback
Then all my thoughts return to You...
When there's no more use for airports
And no jetstreams divide skies blue
We'll greet spring mornings soothed by bird song
Then all my thoughts will fly towards You
When there's no more talk of climate change
And no more captive mammals in the zoo
I'll hunt grazing deer that only free range
Then I'll return in fall with meat for You
When riverbanks renewed are over-flowing
From winter's ice unto full lakes anew
I will fish once more under moonlight
Then I'll nourish through Summer both of You...
When deep winter snows are melting
Long before the sweet coming August dew
Earth Mother meet me at Ostara equally
Then like the summer Sun I'll shine for You
