I knew our paths crossed for a 'reason'
Though that's not quite the correct word
It was not about our Beltaine season
No, its just One whispering wind we heard
It was almost instantly I liked you
You the lovely random witch nearby
Its not my mystic poetry that striked you
No, its within old Truths we therein lie
There is so much I want to tell you
Beyond words written lame in rhyme
Know that I'd never harm nor fell you
No, you've smitten me through all of time
You are the ghost hunter I've always known
And perhaps the friend I've ever wanted
I'll not run away from your bare soul shown
No, you'll never shrink from my soul haunted
I knew our paths crossed for a reason
For there is so much here to uncover
Not of our lost lovers' touch nor treason
No, we've better new old worlds to discover
