Lone Witches Reunited

We can't know how it came about
But there was one of us for every village
Until the burnings and dark days of doubt
Removed each witch from homes they'd pillage
We don't know how it came to be so
But all those lone witches were connected
And though once driven we were down below
Today we rise up reunited, resurrected
We can't know from where the powers came
But it seems we still listen to one wind
And though we're different yet we are the same
Enlightened and forgiving those who sinned
Sometimes we can't tell if we're living
Well here on Earth or just in our dreams
Dodging dark reason's two edged shivving
At Peace in lodgings safe from angry screams
We can't know all about our inner Nature
But we've learned something Light from history
Though we'll voice not loud in Legislature
We'll speak volumes proud through Mystery
