Meet me out here in rhyme and verse
Where gentler tides begin to swell
Is Love a blessed sea or ocean curse
On moonless nights it is too dark to tell
Greet not the wind with harsh words terse
And I'll do my best to keep us sailing well
We've no karmic debts to reimburse
Within these sea mists by which we dwell
We need square up lines we can't rehearse
And I've got nothing on this ship to sell
Writing sometimes better at times worse
Listing somewhere between heaven and hell
Sail not unto a black waves' rolling hearse
Nor run aground raised mountains that once fell
I'll not leave you bleeding there alone to nurse
And you'll not need leave me drowning in a cell
Take me safe to shore then quench my thirst
Let me drink deeply from la chalice ma belle
And I'll strive to treat you better than the first
Since I have fallen under your ocean spell
