Heaven Here On Earth

Heaven Here On Earth

When dawn dances light in your dark hair
And all Life's engorged by spring's rebirth
Thick lilac scent perfumes the still morn air
Then we know we're in heaven here on Earth
When daybreaks open to blooms freshly kissed
And I am enlarged in full dawn's spring mirth
You come to me ardently through morning mists
Then we are lost in love & heaven here on Earth
Then these sweet black cherries blossom
While the hard oak woods regain more girth
When spring brings forth sensations awesome
We lay down again for all of heaven here on Earth
When dawn breaks red to distant thunder
In ardour come indulge in Love for all we're worth
Through enchanted air take me, my breath, asunder
Moving all through heaven writhing here on Earth
Then drift us slowly to a balsam-scented arbor
Sail our ship divine unto your deep Fifth of Firth
Surround me safely renewed in your green harbour
Proving heaven springs from loving here on Earth
