Why must you always be so cryptic
When you orbit me so close then far away?
Your trajectory around me is elliptic
Will you ever come and go I cannot say...
Why must you be always mysterious
Like the ever-changing Moon above?
Waning into darkness when you're serious
Waxing full light-hearted when in Love...
Why must you always keep me distant
Surrounded by the spinning pace you ride?
You know we'd fall together cosmic in an instant
Sometimes two planets slowing just collide...
Why must you always shine so bright elusive
As if our oldest Truths would lay us bare?
I'm sorry if my night questions too intrusive
Should your boldest answer take us there...
Why must you always be so cryptic
When you orbit sometimes close then far away?
Your trajectory around the Sun elliptic
Will you ever come and go I cannot say...
