When my words you do no longer trust
I'll bring bouquets of campion and daisy
To prove to you my e'er love and ardent lust
Is ruled by Venus: truer and never lazy
When you cannot tell what I am feeling
I'll bring you sharp red thistles for strength
To break this curse through gentle healing
Ruled by Mars taught at slow hard length
When you think I will never come over
I'll arrive with love's strut in my stride
To bring you vetch and sweet white clover
For you rule hot like Mercury by my side
When you need both clarity and a favour
I will bring you blue chickory bouquets
Your ever eyes o'er coffee then I'll savour
Ruled by the Sun like fine hazy Litha days
When you're looking for divine direction
I'll bring three lilies and a fleur-de-lys
For prosperity, Peace, and your protection
I ruled by your moonlike goddess Trinity
Author's Notes: The flowers in this poem are all currently in bloom along the roadsides... I found this poem to the cadence of hoof beats on a pleasure ride.
