Moonlight Witch

O
You know I'll always love you
When e'er we watch the full moon rise
Though by day I shine sometimes above you
Each night you strip away my bright disguise
I will always be towards you directed
By your lonely waxing waning ways
When e'er you glow for me reflected
I will be within you until the end of days
When you descend in shadow hiding
Throwing our dark nights pure pitch black
Your moonlight horsesman keeps on riding
Trusting eclipse will bring his light witch back
Set so to chase we gallop over our horizon
A yielding backward glance then makes me shiver
I now the prey our huntress has her eyes on
Wielding mightily her sharp waxing sickle-sliver
Come just meet me under this full moon
While the Sun shines directly from below
In full-on Love before you wane too soon
Leaving me to mine erect and feeling low
