I will ever rise for you come morning
Always I will go down on you at night
All day long I'll arc in ecstacy above you
But in darkness only She shines fully bright
I'll be the constant at your very centre
Always your source of warmth and light
The flame about which cold stones circle
But for You only will I radiate just right
I'm like a burning bush you spin around
Yet among stars I shine but one mere candle
Against vast black odds it's I you found
Danced at that perfect distance you can handle
From here I bear witness to the miracles
That only you could mother there on Earth
For the element of Fire's truly intense here
But 'midst Air and Water only You give birth!
It seems to me all Life's dance with death
Is held holy balanced in our kissing lips
When I flare up you take away my breath
Then your daughter Moon steps in to eclipse...
