Snow Fall & Silver Salmon

Let snow fall deeply all around
Swirling dancing drifting in the wind
Though winter comes its warmth now found
Swimming upstream like two salmon finned
Let large white snowflakes all surround
As we make our cool way up river
Through dark valley rifts ‘tween hills bright crowned
No cold flowing waters brimming make us shiver
Let nights snowstorm enshroud fields fall-browned
Through the tempest wayward waters stay open
Landing white flakes are upon black waters drowned
Showing we’ve pure clean headwaters to hope in
Wet snowflakes fall down near spawning ground
High yet Light over rocks and trees it covers
Here dreams of little things and fingerlings abound
Where underneath we’ve always swam two lovers
Let the snow fall deeply all around
Twirling dancing in the wind cold gusts
Now that winter comes its warmth we’ve found
Beneath white sheets Romancing in old lusts
