Reborn today are woods say nodding bellflowers
As I feel too when ruffed grouse start to drum
Agreeable were replenishing spring showers
In this fresh re-greening I am simply overcome…
I shed my clothes with this long winter’s death
Saluting sunshine warmth in rhythms of the breeze
There we're kissed by Beauty light in yogic breath
Where fine root betroths Earth to strong trees…
Now fallen, sun-shred is Her snow white gown
Re-birthed are we bright and holy solar blissed
Beneath Love’s noon-time Sunlight shining down
We are by one thousand angels gently kissed…
In these sensations rhyme Her feathered touch
Warm winds caress us whispering ‘romance’
Would our spring celebrations prove too much?
Could we above our own dark shadows dance?
Aloft Her sighing wind-wisps tingle on my skin
Like soft endless waves of Light and maiden hair
Therein bold spirits mingle with old thoughts of sin
Late April’s first gold Sunshine always finds us there…
