Your Thinnest Place

Take me to your thinnest place
Of all the sacred grounds we know
Through a portal unto inner space
To the vast universe below
You'll know when we've arrived there
By the whispering wind's free song
From those before us who survived here
With crowns aglow where we belong
We'll sense it with spines tingling
I'll see it through your divine shine
When within wind's chorus we are mingling
Where pure spring waters turn to wine...
On barren plains there's hagstones
And old limestone circles in the round
Above weathered bones of buried crones
Where loves once lost through grasslands can be found
Take me to the thinnest place
Of all the sacred grounds you know
Through a portal unto inner space
To your vast universe below
