Should markets come down crashing
In two twin towers' tragic wake
Would you hear the change winds' lashing
Like waves 'pon distant shores must break
Bear markets' teeth are gnashing
Exposing once-tall traders fake
Four world views now clashing
But its your future that's at stake
Tea parties keep on slashing
Like the rich from poor always take
The protesters they're now trashing
Are not found in news as if opaque
The warning signs are flashing
Families in the dark just ache
Their dreams cold banks are dashing
For mere profit and not heaven's sake
Should markets come down crashing
In two twin towers' tragic wake
Could you feel storms come thrashing
Like waves 'pon distant shore must break
