The Occupy Movement...
October 16, 2011 (
"We are the ninety-nine percent"
Say those now occupying Wall Street
Folks wondering where their freedoms went
Joining those fed up with GM toxic wheat
Their message is the medium
"We have had enough of corporate greed"
Folks pressed from out meek tedium
'Driven not by wants but out of soulful need
Still un-leadered is this movement
No one tells when forest trees must grow
Folks self-planted for improvement
Reminding us what all men should just know...
Turn off 'the news' to then tune in
Love's at the heart of evoLution
Folks value what 'the suits' are ruining
But with one voice they may find resolution
They say, "we are the ninety-nine percent
'best you note this on your balance sheets"
Folks bled beyond their limits finally vent
'So globalized they've taken to the streets!
