A Third Stone Circle
November 26, 2011
Today we built a third new circle
Nine foot nine wide, made 'round of stone
Set to reflame an ancient miracle
She is with me 'though I work alone
I cleared another forest glade
Cut out of thick juniper and pine
Centred there within our circle's made
Wherein we Lord and Lady dance divine!
We worked 'round this new sacred ring
Widdershins two ghosts upon uneven ground
Grass here will grow re-greened come spring
For nothing's lost when old fitting stones are found
In the early morning called a barred owl
Through the warming gloom and forest mist
Then wolves by evening wood-smoke howl
As flames lick high my Lady lightly kissed!
Today we built a third new circle
