Beneath tall pines come down to ground
Listen for late autumn's last refrain
There's rhythym in this season's sound
Like Raven wings in warm December's rain
Come lie upon pine needles soft
Well-sheltered on our forest bed
When Raven spreads Her wings aloft
Then long shadows loom on leaves now dead
Here are deer skulls and hagstones found
Within old fields that She will reclaim
Men's dreams here died in brushlands browned
Where the son of Raven bears no name
Come lie upon pine needles soft
Well-sheltered in our woodland bed
When Raven spreads Her wings aloft
Then black shadows fall on dreams long dead
O'er winter here 'til spring's rebound
Within mine dark barren woods arcane
Find your rhythym in this silenced sound
Like Raven wings in warm December's rain
