When It Rains Now

O
Our world could use more kindness
Instead, we've factions settling scores
Men then govern for the mindless
So now when it rains it pours...
We need more leaders gentle
Who've learned to harness Love's pure strength
Instead, we've cruel despots instramental
And droughts now linger on at length...
Give us more peace and quietude
Instead of blood-drenched wars insane
These men's images of cold deaths crude
Now make floods from quenching rain...
We need more women with powers
To restore some balance here on Earth
Instead of deluge, just June showers
Less hard suns and more spring re-birth!
Our world could more kindness
Instead of nations settling scores
When men govern towards the mindless
Then now if it rains, it pours...
