A Warrior's Prayer

Age Group: Adult
My heart is broken and my soul is no more,
I realize I have walked this path before.
Despite my arrogance and foolish pride,
The Divine still remains at my side.
By opening my third eye I now see,
Becoming Wiccan has set me free.
I now beg the Midnight Sky,
Have mercy on me and hear my cry!
Never before have I felt so much pain,
But the Goddess helped me learn to love again.
For although I am prone to sin,
I fight for love and I will win.
I am sure you have all heard this before,
That the United States is still at War.
But I do not fight with guns or knives,
I am a Medic and my goal is to save lives.
For I remain Sailor tried and true,
I served my Country because I love you.
So tell a veteran that you truly care,
This is a true Warrior's Prayer.
I will remain a Wiccan forever of this I am sure,
When persecution comes I will endure.
To all others on WitchVox I truly support thee
Happy Day and Blessed Be.
