The Radiant Sun and the Beautiful Moon

Age Group: Adult
Dawn awakens the sleeping world,
And the sun appears,
With its radiant gaze,
Poking through the clouds.
Get up! Get up!
Hasten outside, enjoy the precious hours!
For once they arrive,
They will soon be over!
In the sunlight bright,
Carve your way towards the future,
Dance with the wind,
With the trees, and flowers!
Watch the stream flow,
Life all around you.
Be one with the breeze,
Feel its power wash over you.
When the day turns to night,
And the sun has gone down,
Do not be afraid,
For the night is another adventure!
In the moonlight bright,
Meet your lover, your soulmate.
Glowing in the moonlight’s power,
Carefree faces enjoy the night, while it remains young.
Look to the night sky,
Where dreams are made.
Look to the stars, twinkling unconcerned.
So make a wish, and may it come true!
The night is behind, moving forwards to day,
Lovers depart, longing for each others embrace.
But the important lesson to remember is,
Never forget the radiant sun and the beautiful moon.
Author's Notes: I was in an english lesson, and got a burst of inspiration and began to write this (then i finished it at home) .
This poem is all about not wasting time, and the importance of nature and love (also the sun and moon) .
