A Message For a Friend

I see my friend,
Tear stains down her cheeks,
Pale in the light,
Lonely, she weeps.
I have a message for her.
She hurts inside,
Affecting us all,
Her pain is my pain,
Her sadness mine too.
And I have a message for her.
The words of others,
Cause her to drown,
Blinded by the light,
She seeks refuge in the dark.
But I have a message for her,
And it goes something like this...
Never forget you're loved,
Ignore the bad ones, they'll never understand what they lack,
Never forget you have friends,
Who'd die for you in the bitter end.
