When we spoke I felt on top of the world,
Wishing others could feel the love I had for you,
But no, I’m too selfish, I kept you for myself,
Those moments that went were just for me and you.
We promised we’d both wait and brave all the odds,
There was a time when I’d do anything for you,
We promised each other the stars and the moon,
My heart would beat faster at the thought of you.
Not only that but you were my friend,
Now I’m broken and betrayed, how could you?
On the floor lies my heart, shattered in pieces,
But life has moved on for you.
Where does that leave me, replaying your sweet nothings in my head,
That’s all they were, nothing, we will never be here again, and now I’ll never see you,
I can’t believe you just threw away all those moments in one sentence,
‘I can’t wait that long…if you know what I mean.’

thanks to the p.a clan for putting up with me, and helping me in my times of need. You guys don't know how much you mean to me.
